Play with Purpose: September News

A note from Lyla

Fall is here! These coming months, let's challenge ourselves to "level up" our impact. Whether it's volunteering at a school game club, organizing a charity stream (Extra Life?), or simply spreading the word about gaming for good, every action counts.

We're focusing on education this month, exploring how games can be powerful learning tools. Today, we are featuring some gaming initiatives in education and ways you can support them.

Remember, Gamers Engaged is all of us - a community that believes in the power of play to make a difference. I'm excited to see what we'll accomplish together this fall.

Play on,

Lyla Ross, Founder & Executive Director, Gamers Engaged

Please take our survey!

We’re studying perceptions of generosity in our gaming communities in order to find new ways to increase engagement with nonprofits through activities like donating and volunteering.

Taking this survey helps Gamers Engaged further develop our programs:

  • Volunteer Events

  • Play-it-Forward Grants

  • Workforce Development

BONUS: Each month, we’ll randomly select one survey respondent to receive a $25 Visa gift card. Survey closes on 12/31/2024. Winners selected until end of December.

We're blown away by your support and are now working on setting up the application process and grant categories.

Stay tuned for more details as we continue to develop this program, all thanks to you!
